Companies considering investments in one or more emerging Low Power Wide Area Networking (LPWAN) technologies like Semtech’s LoRa are evaluating Haystack as a networking stack provider.

Most LPWAN technologies only specify a physical (PHY) layer and make only semi-serious attempts to build a full-featured networking stack that can accommodate the needs of a diverse community of developers around the world. When Haystack invented DASH7, it anticipated the needs of low bit-rate PHY’s across a number of sub-1GHz frequencies and the architecture of DASH7 today makes adopting one or more LPWAN PHY’s relatively simple.
